Bakenshoogte Assisted Storage

Bakenshoogte Storage is in Bakenshoogte Park off the R43 on Hermanus Way, just outside Bot River, within reach of Hermanus and Kleinmond and on the route from Cape Town. Units range from about 5 to 32.5 square metres, including corner units and a high-roof unit, each with a lockable roll-up door 2.4 m high and air holes in the walls for ventilation. Units are cleaned before each new tenant.

The park has security staff on duty 24 hours a day. Access is daily from 08:00 to 18:00, with after-hours visits arranged through security, and tenants enter using their cellphone. The minimum rental is one month with no long-term contract and 14 days' notice before month-end. A refundable deposit applies, and tenants insure their own goods. The company points to weekenders who keep a boat, caravan or trailer there.
