Calories Storage Depot rents 6 m shipping containers as storage units in the business park in Stanford, serving Stanford and the wider Overstrand. Each container gives 14.9 m² of floor space and about 33 cubic metres of capacity, more than a standard storage garage.

The containers are high-grade steel, built to withstand heat, rain, flooding and strong winds, and the site describes them as pest-proof. Each has a heavy-duty locking system. The company suggests them for seasonal business stock, furniture during a move or renovation, and large equipment, and pitches them at long-term storage.
