Container World Westmead, Durban

Container World Westmead is the Durban branch of Container World, a South African container supplier founded in 1983 that sells, leases and converts shipping containers. Durban is one of three cities, with Cape Town and Johannesburg, where the company has a conversion workshop with enclosed spray booths.

For storage, Container World leases storage containers on short- and long-term hire and sells them in 3-metre, 6-metre and 12-metre lengths. It describes them as air- and watertight. Other products include refrigerated containers and blast freezers, site offices, ablution units, tanktainers and MultiHouse flat-pack buildings. The group also runs a personal and business self-storage brand, Self Storage CW. Container World is ISO accredited.
