About
Handi Store has rented self-storage units in Bainsvlei, on the western edge of Bloemfontein, since 2013. It offers six sizes, from a 4.2 square metre locker to a 36 square metre double unit. In between are 9 and 18 square metre units, an 18 square metre unit with a 2.7 m ceiling for tall items or a caravan, and a 30.6 square metre unit, nine metres deep, for boats, vehicles and business stock.
The site has electric fencing, motion sensors, 24-hour CCTV and armed response, with solar backup for lights and alarms during power cuts. Every unit has a fire hydrant, and tenants can park beside their unit to unload. Access is Monday to Saturday during the day, or any time by appointment. The minimum rental is one month, with discounts for long stays.
