Hashtag Storage

Hashtag Storage is a self-storage facility in Benoni AH on the East Rand, close to the airport. It rents garage-size units of 3m x 6m, all on the ground floor. The units have face-brick interiors, insulation and high ceilings to keep them cool, and roofs and garage doors of thick galvanised steel. The site sits above flood lines and has drainage built for heavy storms. Sizes can vary slightly, and customers may inspect a unit before renting.

A 2.4m brick wall topped with a 12-strand electric fence surrounds the property. Security includes Full HD cameras with on- and off-site monitoring, beams, motion and vibration detectors, controlled access and 24-hour armed response. A backup generator runs the alarms and cameras. Tenants lock units with their own padlock. Access is on weekdays and Saturday mornings.
