Lock 'n Leave is a purpose-built self-storage complex in Kyalami, Johannesburg, trading since 2013. Units range from 7.5 m² to 36 m², and the most popular are 15 and 18 m² single-garage units, which hold the contents of a three-bedroom house. There are brick units and converted steel containers, all on ground level with roller garage doors. Some have double roofs to stay cool and dry.
The site has access control, CCTV, an alarmed electric perimeter fence connected to a security company, and security lighting from dusk to dawn. Tenants bring their own padlock and must arrange their own insurance. The complex is open on weekdays and Saturdays, and closed on Sundays and public holidays. Units can be booked through an online form.
