Nimby Storage Units

Nimby Storage Units is a self-storage facility in Komatipoort, close to the Lebombo border post with Mozambique. Brick units with steel roll-up doors come in four sizes: 6 by 3 m (a single garage), 9 by 3 m, 6 by 6 m and 9 by 6 m, with entrance heights of 2.1 to 3 m. Roofs are white sheeting with 100 mm glass wool insulation. Caravans, boats, trailers and vehicles can be stored alongside household and business goods.

The site has 3 m double brick walls and 2.4 m electrified Clearvu fencing linked to an alarm and armed response, floodlights and CCTV monitored 24 hours. Tenants open the electric gate with their phone at any hour and fit two padlocks. Leases run month to month with a one-month deposit. Dust from cane burning can settle, so goods should be covered.
