Phakamiza Crane Hire and Rigging

Phakamiza Crane Hire and Rigging is a container business in Kariega (formerly Uitenhage) in the Eastern Cape. Besides refurbishing and converting shipping containers, it runs a depot in Kariega where containers and machinery can be stored.

The depot has 24-hour security and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, while the office keeps weekday hours. The company's crane trucks move containers throughout Southern Africa, so a container can be collected, stored at the depot and later delivered. Its conversion work turns old containers into offices, kitchens and homes. The business has been operating for more than a decade with its own qualified staff.
