Rent-A-Store Centurion is the Heuweloord branch of Rent-A-Store, a self-storage company with six facilities in Gauteng. The site can be seen from the N14. It rents self-storage units in several sizes, from lockers of about 1 square metre to large units of 54 square metres.
Leases run month to month, with one full calendar month's notice needed before moving out. There is no security deposit and no move-in admin fee. Customers can pick a unit, reserve it without a reservation fee, sign the lease electronically and pay online, which the company says takes about 15 minutes. For the first move in, Rent-A-Store lends a truck with a driver, or a trailer, at no charge. Packing supplies are sold through its online shop.
