Storage International Trust

Storage International Trust is a locally owned self-storage facility in the Durbanville Industrial Park, just outside Durbanville in Cape Town's northern suburbs. It has operated since 2006 and has more than 300 units. Garage-type units come in 6m x 3m (18 m²), 3m x 4m (12 m²), 3m x 3m (9 m²) and 3m x 2m (6 m²), all on ground level and outdoors with roll-up doors, so vehicles can drive up to load. Tenants supply their own locks and have 24-hour access.

There is also secure open parking for caravans, boats and trucks, and cars can be stored. Security includes access control, round-the-clock monitoring, guards, electrified fencing, armed response and lighting. Month-to-month and long-term rates are offered. The facility does not offer transport or climate-controlled units, and hazardous goods, flammable liquids and gas cylinders are not allowed.
