Store Rite

Store Rite in Windermere, on the Berea in Durban, is an independent facility with two unit types. It has 130 single units, each 2.5 m wide and 6 m long (15 m²), and 10 double units of 5 m by 6 m (30 m²), which are two singles without a dividing wall.

There is no deposit and no lease: tenants sign a month-to-month agreement. The site is covered by CCTV and 24-hour security. Access runs from 06:00 to 18:00 every day, public holidays included. The facility publishes complex rules, and its list of prohibited items includes stolen goods, drugs, explosives, aerosols, petroleum-based paints and goods that need a special licence.
