W P Storage CC

WP Self Storage has operated in Gordon's Bay since 2004, about 15 minutes from Somerset West and Strand and close to the N2. It has 62 standard single garage units of 3 by 6 m, 2.5 m high, and three larger units. All units can be rented by one person or shared to lower the cost.

A permanent on-site manager controls the automatic gates and lets tenants in after identification. A security company patrols and responds to alarms 24 hours a day, and the site has floodlights, infrared beams, electric fencing and CCTV. Tenants use their own padlock. Access is on weekdays and Saturday afternoons, or by arrangement. The minimum rental is one month, rent is paid in advance, and tenants arrange insurance.
