Auto Vault

Auto Vault is a small private car storage and care business in Brooklyn, Pretoria, aimed at owners of performance, classic and collector cars in Pretoria and Johannesburg. Cars are kept in secure, access-controlled indoor bays with round-the-clock monitoring, out of the weather and hail. Keys are held in a safe on site, and only Auto Vault staff move the cars.

Every month the engine is run, the battery charge is checked, and the car is repositioned to avoid flat-spotting the tyres. Higher tiers add trickle charging, more washes and annual delivery. Cars are available on weekdays, with out-of-hours and weekend collection by arrangement, and can be delivered across Pretoria and Johannesburg. The facility is not open to walk-ins. Agreements are month to month with 30 days' notice. Detailing, service coordination and enclosed transport are optional extras.
