About
Gala Storage rents brick self-storage units in Equestria, a residential suburb of Pretoria East reached from the N4 and Hans Strydom Avenue. The facility has been run by the same staff for more than 15 years and has added two new wings. Units are full garages of 6 by 3 m and half garages of 4 by 3 m, both with high ceilings, plus caravan stores.
The units are insulated against dust and temperature swings. The owner lives on site, and security includes electric fencing, CCTV and 24-hour armed response. Entry is through a GSM system that admits only registered cellphone numbers and logs every attempt. Rental is month to month with a full one-month security deposit and a discount for paying more than six months ahead.
