Deep South Storage

Deep South Storage is in Sunnydale, near Noordhoek in Cape Town. It has 72 single garage units, 68 standard and four slightly smaller. A standard unit measures about 5.95 by 2.95 m with a 3.4 m ceiling, which the company says gives 40% more height than usual, for 60 cubic metres of space. Fifteen open bays take boats, caravans and trailers.

Security includes an electric perimeter fence, full CCTV coverage with offsite monitoring, floodlights at night, armed response and a caretaker on site around the clock. General access runs from 06:00 to 19:00, with other times by arrangement through the caretaker. Contracts run month to month or longer, with a refundable one-month deposit and a discount for paying a year upfront.
