Simply Store

Simply Store is a mobile self-storage service operating in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, and this listing is its Midrand base in Glen Austin. Instead of renting a unit at a depot, the customer has a mobile storage unit delivered to their home, packs it at their own pace, and Simply Store then collects it and keeps it in its warehouse until it is needed again.

Each unit holds 6.95 cubic metres and measures 2.3 m long, 1.55 m wide and 2.15 m high, about a quarter of a single garage. Customers can book several units for larger loads. Billing is month to month with no long lock-in, and no van hire is involved. A space calculator on the website estimates how many units a household needs.
