The Boat Shed

The Boat Shed is a boat storage facility in Klapmuts, just off the N1 near the R44 off-ramp, within reach of Table Bay, False Bay, Theewaterskloof, Hermanus and other Western Cape boating spots. It offers three types of space: fully enclosed indoor storage, undercover bays with a roof and open sides, and open-air outdoor bays. Fees are charged per square metre, with indoor the most expensive and outdoor the cheapest.

Agreements run month to month and either side can cancel with one calendar month's written notice. Bookings are made through an online form. Access is from 08:00 to 17:00 or as otherwise agreed. Boats are stored at the owner's risk and owners must insure their boat, trailer and accessories. Major repairs, painting and refuelling on site need written consent.
