About
Summit Storage is a 65,000 square metre secure yard in Atlantis, across from the Atlantis Dunes and about 10 minutes from Melkbosstrand. Its main storage units are insulated ex-reefer containers in 6 m and 12 m lengths, which keep out water, wind and dust and limit heat build-up. Open-air bays take boats, caravans, trailers and cars.
The yard also offers daily or monthly parking for trucks, trailers and abnormal loads using the R27 and N7, open yard space for industrial items such as generators, steel and turbine parts, and a base for film shoots and events. Security includes 24-hour on-site guards, guard dogs and armed response, and tenants lock their own containers. Agreements are month to month with no deposit and a calendar month's notice. Payment is by EFT or cash, and access is Monday to Saturday.
